Lucida Privacy Policy
Lucida is an 18+ entertainment and self-reflection product. It does not provide professional advice.
1. Controller and scope
Lucida is an explainable astrology and reflection app for adults aged 18+, provided by independent developer Ertuğrul Ünal. Contact ertugrulunal9@gmail.com for privacy questions or data requests.
2. Data we process
- Anonymous or linked account and session identifiers;
- Birth date, birth-time accuracy, city, timezone, coordinates and historical UTC offset;
- Calculated astrology placements, aspects, transits and source evidence;
- Saved life moments and optional notes sent to AI only when explicitly selected;
- Another person's birth data supplied for relationship analysis and the user's permission attestation;
- Purchase, product, entitlement, delivery and refund status;
- Optional product analytics, notification preferences and push token;
- Minimal diagnostics needed for errors, security, rate limiting and content reports.
Lucida does not sell sensitive personal data for advertising. Product analytics exclude birth details, coordinates, partner data and free text.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide requested charts and reports, fulfil and restore purchases, secure accounts, deliver notifications, prevent abuse, comply with law and—when chosen—improve the product. Depending on applicable law, the basis may be contract performance, consent, legitimate interests or legal obligation. AI processing and optional analytics use separate, revocable choices.
4. AI and astrology
Deterministic chart calculation does not require AI. With AI consent, Lucida sends AIHubMix minimized astrology evidence rather than raw birth coordinates. Generated text may be inaccurate or inappropriate and is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety or crisis advice. Lucida does not claim certainty, soulmates or compatibility percentages.
5. Providers and international processing
Data may be handled by our hosting/database provider, AIHubMix (consented AI only), Google Firebase (identity and notifications), RevenueCat and Google Play (purchases), and Sentry (error monitoring). Providers may process data in other countries. We limit disclosure to what is necessary and aim to use applicable transfer safeguards.
6. Retention and deletion
- Partner birth input is encrypted in the report queue and removed after successful generation.
- Share links expire after 30 days or 50 opens and can be revoked earlier.
- Aggregate creator/landing measurements are retained for up to 180 days.
- Account charts, moments and reports remain until deletion; payment and security records remain only as required for law, accounting and fraud prevention.
Use Profile → Privacy and data → Delete account and all data, or follow the external deletion instructions.
7. Security
We use encrypted transport, access controls, short-lived sessions, ownership checks, application-level encryption for queued partner input, rate limits and data minimization. No method is completely secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object, receive portable data, withdraw consent and complain to a data-protection authority. Send verified requests to ertugrulunal9@gmail.com.
9. Children
Lucida is not directed to anyone under 18 and does not seek to knowingly collect children's data.
10. Changes
Material changes will be published here with a new date and, where appropriate, announced in the app.
